Special thanks for the Tiger's Fight Song on the Elevators in the UC.
Request made at 5:20 p.m. on August 13 as the UP had originally scheduled Athletics Student Photographer and informed the UP that he was not available until the day before the session.
Location requested was for the front of the Administration building at 12:30 noon.
Weather for Tuesday, August 14 at noon was 87°
with a NNW Wind at 9 mph.
UP making request is male and shaved head. Professional experience photographing females requires additional considerations, such as wind speed, wind direction. Preferably a group shot should be backlit to avoid "squinting" and "skull/lifeless eyes".
With the late request from the UP, there was no expectation that individuals would receive wardrobe suggestions in advance.
Another issue arose on site as one of the individuals was not comfortable with their shoe selection and went back to Wilder Tower to change shoes.
Photographer arrives at 12 noon to setup three lights to photograph the group to be ready to photograph at 12:30 sharp. Photographer packs back up and departs around 1:15.
Example of existing lighting conditions.
First group shot taken at 12:37 p.m. Who sits (slacks), who stands (skirts, hide the boot). Rearrange individuals as two stripes next to each other. Ask individuals to engage their arms/hands vs down at their side.
